Koala with eucalyptus leaf, Cuddly Toy, Plush Toy, approx. 16 cm
One green branch gathers the whole small koala into a single portrait
The eucalyptus sits so close that it almost becomes part of the expression
The eye is drawn first to the green branch held firmly against the koala’s chest. Behind it is a rounded face with brown safety eyes, a broad black fabric nose and a white muzzle that softens the whole expression. Large ears extend well beyond the head, edged with longer pale fibres that give them a light, cloud-like outline. Warm grey-beige fur, broken by darker shading, covers the forehead, cheeks, arms and legs. The Plush Toy looks alert and gentle, with just enough concentration to suggest that the branch has been positioned very carefully.A breeze through the leaves creates a story without moving the koala
A dark green cloth, two light fabric strips, a feather and a few wooden blocks can become a changing treetop. The koala sits at the centre while the strips are moved first slowly and then with a little more energy. A mild breeze carries the feather past the branch; a sudden gust sends other Soft Toys towards new resting places between the blocks. This seated koala remains the calm point around which the scene develops. Because the figure already sits with such focus, it need not be passed from place to place to keep the action together. The upright eucalyptus leaf also provides a surprisingly convincing answer to the question of which way is up.Sixteen centimetres of height leave plenty of room for those broad ears
The Cuddly Toy measures approximately 9 cm in length, 10 cm in width and 16 cm in height. Much of its visible width comes from the ears, while the body remains short, rounded and compact. The fur is made from acrylic, with a denser finish across the face and limbs and a slightly shaggier effect around the ear edges. Polyester fibre shapes the head, body and legs, and granulate also forms part of the filling. Brown safety eyes sit within lighter facial patches, the black fabric nose contrasts clearly with the white muzzle, and the green fabric branch carries three long leaves. These details give the koala a complete and recognisable outline without making the small seated form look crowded. The side view turns head, back and hindquarters into one quiet curve
Seen from the side, the compact construction becomes especially clear. Short feet point forwards, the arms rest across the pale tummy, and the branch rises immediately beside the nose. The Plush Toy captures a deliberate pause rather than a frozen leap. Even at a little distance, the outline remains easy to read: broad ears, rounded head, short limbs and the prominent dark nose. Subtle variation in the grey-beige fur adds depth without disturbing the calm appearance. On a narrow shelf or beside a small stack of books, the koala therefore looks more like a very composed visitor than a simple animal shape. The only subject on which it appears entirely unwilling to compromise is the exact location of the eucalyptus. For a real koala, eucalyptus is a specialised diet rather than a decoration
Koalas are marsupials, not bears, and live naturally in Australia. Their diet consists almost entirely of leaves from selected eucalyptus species. These leaves offer relatively little energy and contain compounds that many other animals cannot process well. Koalas have a specialised digestive system in which microorganisms help break down the food. As each meal provides limited energy, they spend many hours resting or asleep. Their choice of leaves is not random, however. Scent, tree species and the condition of the foliage can all influence what they select, and the large nose is an important sensory feature. The Stuffed Animal cannot share those living abilities, but it makes the connection instantly visible by placing the broad dark nose and the green branch almost side by side.Strong limbs and curved claws support a life above the ground
Living koalas spend much of their time in trees. Powerful arms and legs, curved claws and gripping paws help them climb trunks and remain secure in the forks of branches. Their movement on the ground looks different from their progress through a tree, although they can travel more quickly when crossing between feeding areas. A female carries her young, known as a joey, in a pouch at first. Later, the joey clings to her belly or rides on her back while becoming increasingly independent. Adult koalas generally live alone and communicate through calls, scents and body posture. The Cuddly Toy does not acquire any of these traits; instead, it echoes a few recognisable visual features through short limbs, a compact body, generous ears and a calm seated position with the leaf held close.Recycled plastic gives the polyester filling a softly shaping role
The polyester fibre in the filling is made from recycled plastic. It gives the head and body their soft rounded form, while the granulate included in the filling complements the compact seated shape. In this Stuffed Animal, previously used material takes on a new purpose between the broad ears, short legs and paws gathered around the eucalyptus branch. The exterior remains grey-beige acrylic fur with pale ear sections and a white muzzle. The material detail sits naturally beside an animal motif so closely associated with leaves and trees, while the figure retains its warm and playful appearance. Above all, the koala remains a small soft character whose rounded shape is supported by the recycled polyester fibre.Small in scale, unmistakable in priorities
Beside books, on a chest of drawers or among other animal figures, this koala needs little space to attract attention. The Plush Toy looks open and friendly from the front, yet almost busy from the side because paws, nose and branch are gathered so closely together. As a gift for a koala enthusiast or an addition to an animal collection, the figure offers a clear silhouette without appearing loud. Brown eyes, pale ear tufts and the broad black nose keep the face expressive at close range. Most charming of all is the unwavering proximity of the eucalyptus. This Cuddly Toy seems to have settled every important matter already: remain seated, look pleasantly attentive and under no circumstances release the green branch.Cuddly Toy Facts – Size, Material & Important Information at a Glance

- Kunde, 11/23/2024The koala looks very good. The eucalyptus is a little too simple; it would be better to leave the plant out. Otherwise, everything is excellent.
